LGV Driver – Class C

We’re recruiting LGV Drivers (Class C Licence) to join our Transport Team. Whether you’ve got years of experience, or have just gained your licence, we’ll provide full training and support to candidates with enthusiasm, commitment and a can-do attitude!

Who will I be working with?

Sister-company Platts Agriculture Limited is a market-leading UK manufacturer and supplier of quality animal bedding. Established for over 50 years, the family-owned business supplies thousands of farmers throughout the UK and Ireland. Operating our own fleet of up to date and well-maintained commercial vehicles including articulated moving floor trailers and rigid flat-deck lorries, the company has gained a ‘Green-Green’ status with the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA).

So, what will the role of HGV Driver entail?

Reporting to the Transport Manager, you’ll be working as part of a team of experienced and professional HGV Drivers, transporting market-leading, high quality animal bedding and cubicle conditioner products across the UK.

What will I need to be considered for this HGV Driver vacancy?

Full HGV Class 2 licence, along with a Drivers CPC card
Working knowledge of Tachograph and WTD rules
Excellent geographical knowledge of the UK
Flexible approach to work
Customer focused attitude
Willing to have nights out during the week.

Lorry mounted forklift truck Licence advantageous but not essential.
